Professional Experience
Professionally, I am a compassionate and Nationally Board Certified Counselor, as well as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) located in the heart of Illinois. My focus is on connecting with children, young adults, and their families, and I bring a warmth that radiates through my practice.
My heartwarming journey began when I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the prestigious University of Illinois. It was at a delightful early learning center in Southern Illinois that I discovered my deep love for working with children. Fueled by this newfound passion, I embarked on a journey to pursue a Masters in Counseling with Honors at Eastern Illinois University. There, I had the joy of honing my skills and preparing myself to make a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of others.
As a Certified Child & Adolescent Trauma Professional trained in EMDR, I bring a unique set of tools to my practice. My work extends to individuals facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties, and OCD. Additionally, I offer support to parents through consultation services.
What sets me apart is my commitment to fostering growth. I take joy in offering clinical supervision to staff and witnessing their journey as they blossom into their full potential. For those seeking intensive support for ADHD, I provide specialized ADHD intensives, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Step into my world, where care, expertise, and genuine warmth come together to create a space for healing and growth.
Professional Skills
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I bring a wealth of expertise to provide warm and supportive counseling services for both individuals and families. My focus is on offering robust psychoeducation to help you and your family gain a deep understanding of the intricate tapestry of experiences and emotions that have shaped your journey.
As we move forward together, I dedicate myself to the art of crafting and refining coping strategies tailored to your specific concerns.
